DAVID BURRELL, New Zealand Army veteran and personal trainer. I have a passion for fitness and for helping people become healthier both physically and mentally. Fitness has always been a big part of my life, both as a soldier and as a veteran. This became even more important after suffering a spinal injury that left me crippled for two years. I became very unhealthy, both physically and mentally. After surgery, the gym pulled me out of my hole and got me back to being fit, strong and happy. I now use my 15 years of gym experience, my qualifications and my life experiences to help clients overcome challenges and improve their health and fitness.
